A one-month membership is R8,500, which is over $500 USD. Absolutely ridiculous! I paid just €170 for a one-month membership at Virgin Active in Rome.
The guy at the front desk was really sweet, so I apologize if I came across as rude. I was just genuinely shocked by the price. The Green Point location charges the same amount.
I had such a great experience at Virgin Active in Rome that I thought I’d become a loyal customer and seek out their gyms in every country I visit. Guess not…

Reception, Change rooms, and support services such as ironing and shoe cleaning. Their reliability and considerate manner meaningfully improve the member experience. I wish to express my sincere appreciation for their ongoing contribution to making my life easier. 🏆
