St Eve Lodge

St Eve is a very lovely therapeutic lodge and spa with everything you need. They give the best all round service and their prices are very reasonable 😌I give it 5 stars

A very nice and quiet place.

I rates this Beautiful Place 1 because I booked it through Booking.com and read the great reviews of previous guests. However my experience was a total disaster. 15minutes before my arrival, I received a call from a young man who was calling on behalf of the establishment and he informed me that there's a problem with the electricity so he thought he should inform me so that I do not get a shock of my life when I get to the establishment. And truly speaking, I got that shock. The Place was dark from the gate till inside. A young girl escorted me to the reception area with her mobile phone torch, from there I was escorted to my room with the same mobile phone torch. Fast forward, I contacted Booking com and informed them about the disaster. I call it a disaster as I was given a small bulb to light my room but there was no solution as to how would I eat, bath/shower, have tea, eat. And it was cold in Bloem. Finally my partner joined me and as we decided to go and see if there owner/manager would have a solid to the problem, we met a gentleman who kept on making an excuse about the Municipality. When I asked him why they do not have a generator like all other well equipped businesses have, he said it was a plan for the near future. That was a total turn off. Booking.com tried to reach management but there was no answer until a young couple also came and complained about the situation. A serious argument erupted between the gentleman we met there and the young couple and that is when my partner and I decided to leave. I took the ball and key back to the Owner and we had to look for another accomodation. Will we be refunded our R1300. 00, we'll thst remains to be seen. I truly am very disappointed about the whole experience and pray that they fix all their problems as that place is beautiful with so much potential and I would have loved to be part of those who experienced warmth, excellent service ect. Hopefully in future I will.
